The Pikatea Macropad FK1 (Full Kit 1) is an easy to assemble, affordable, underside mounted macropad kit. The perfect addition to any setup.

Programmable Macros

The FK1 is fully programmable with easy to use open source tools. You can program each button to provide input to your programs such as:

Control your music with play/pause, seek/skip actions
Activate your screenshot tool
Start or stop your recording program
Control the volume of programs independently
Control your streaming application, change scenes, mute your microphone, toggle an overlay
Mute yourself in a video conference
Adjust the computer volume with the knob
Switch your computer sound from speakers to headphones
Type out a phrase like a street address or a commonly used email reply

Easy to Program

The programming is easy thanks to an open source program called VIAL. The interface is easy to use. It lets you control the action of each button press and knob to do whatever you like instantly without flashing new firmware or doing anything complicated. We also have extra guides for doing advanced actions and controlling complicated programs.

it's awesome I wanted another thing to use my soldering iron with and it is the perfect thing to get used to on before starting on a full keyboard the create is a super cool guy who is actually around and doesn't act like others celebrities who make it impossible to contact them and will give you tips on how to use the macropod he is an absolute gigachad genius. its extremely good quality and works like a dream coolest macropod ever.

This FK1 is really great. It is the same layout as the GB3, instead being soldered by you, with a usb c controller separate, allowing the cost to go down. This is something I would buy a second time.

The product is fantastic, meets all my needs and was relatively straight forward to assemble! I would definitely recommend! The real reason for writing my review was to highlight how fantastic Pikatea were at resolving my problems and supporting me when my device was DOA. Response time was short and replacement parts were tested and sent at no extra cost, to an international destination. All these reasons add up to why I would definitely come back and shop again if something catches my eye!

Building the FK1 was pretty easy, however my order was missed the 90 degree headers, so I had to modify the straight header to fit. I appreciate the inclusion of quality double-sided adhesive. Overall my biggest complaint is the included software is a bit clunky to use compared to Via, but I like having the option not to compile my own firmware. The Aluminum knob is a really nice touch.

All in all, a great little macropad! Very happy with the quality and performance, very simple to set up and program. Did have a functionality issue after assembly (very possibly my fault), but that just brings up another reason to compliment the product and the company. Because, even though it was probably my fault, the customer service was incredible and they even paid to ship it to and from to fix it for me. Great product, great company, and I think my work PC is gonna need a macropad here soon!

Perfect macropad/volume controller for my sim racing rig. First thing I've ever soldered and both the instructions and Jack's video on Youtube made it a piece of cake. Getting software and the device up and running took about 5 minutes. Two M3 screws and a couple t-nuts and I can now change my music/volume mid race and free up some button space on my wheel. 10/10

Wonderfully functional! The software used to create functions is very user friendly. I joined the discord to get help with enabling the software and JackPikatea reached out immediately! My only issue was that the allen wrench provided for tightening the rotary knob was too small for the hole, so I had to find another that fit. Otherwise, great product for the price!
